The Deep Yes
A 60 minute journey of guided breathwork to open your awareness to the living presence of pure being.
The Deep Yes is a gentle conscious connected breathwork journey using Pete’s powerful 'breath of surrender'. It is full-body meditation to open you to sensation, presence, and aliveness.
This 60-minute practice guides you into a soft, rhythmic mouth breathing journey that builds gradually, supported by music that rises to a subtle crescendo before landing you gently back into stillness. It’s sensual, spacious, and deeply regulating - inviting a felt sense of "yes" to life, breath, and the wisdom of your own body.
Rather than pushing or performing, this journey invites you to receive, to soften, to trust, and to breathe with your whole being.
You’ll be guided into opening into your innate presence as the rhythm of your breath takes over, allowing you to surrender fully into the moment, into the medicine of your own vibrant aliveness.
Listen to a sample of the track below - use headphones for best listening experience.
Practicalities:
60-minute guided audio journey
There is 2 minutes of silence at the end of the breathwork for you to rest in before I bring you back
Use headphones and an eye mask for fullest immersion
Lie somewhere warm, comfortable and undisturbed
Turn off your ring tone and all other distractions
Consciously connect your breath through your mouth throughout (nose breathing is welcome if new to this style)
Breathe through an open mouth for best results or if contraindicated
Allow space to rest and integrate afterward
Best suited for:
All levels of breathwork explorers.
Those who enjoy gentle, embodied, somatic journeys
People seeking nervous system regulation, emotional integration, or deeper intimacy with themselves
Anyone ready to feel more - with safety, curiosity, and reverence
This is a sacred invitation to let the breath breathe you - to return to your body, to the present moment, and to the quiet, ecstatic intelligence within.
The final part of the meditation after the silence is an instrumental remix from an album, Songs Of Devotion, that our devotional music band Ananda Murtaye recorded several years ago. It has James Watts playing haunting duduk, an Armenian oboe, and Elise Kamala Premanjali singing, alongside myself, Kalindi and Isa Wolf. I also play shruti box and am making vocal harmonics in the track.
Waiver - I understand that if I’m taking medication or have a medical condition - for example schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, psychosis, epilepsy, heart conditions, COPD, pregnancy (particularly if delicate), high or very low blood pressure with a history of fainting, PTSD, glaucoma or detached retina, or if I’ve recently had major surgery - then it is strongly advised that you seek medical advice and if suitable listen with care and breathe gently through your nose while using this audio.
If you’ve experienced trauma or PTSD, this breath can bring up strong sensations and emotions - that’s part of the medicine. It’s important you have the right support and feel safe enough to meet what arises. If any of this is present then I advise being held in the container of a 1-1 which may be more suitable to help you meet and move through these feelings. Please contact me to book 1-1s.
If you're unsure whether this is right for you, just reach out or start gently, staying connected to your body and breath. You’re always welcome to breathe through your nose or slow the breath down at any time. There’s no pressure to push.
Your safety, self-trust, and sovereignty matter more than the technique.
